HOW TO PUT ON YOUR LIP GLOSS SEAMLESSLY

Some ladies [and gentlemen] purely love shining, glossy lips, so lip gloss becomes their best friend… However if you overdo the gloss application it will result in the “sticky effect.” So, let’s explain how to seamlessly use a lip gloss in order to acquire beautiful, pouty, “kiss-worthy” lips.

What you’ll need

Lip Exfoliate
Lip Balm or Conditioner
Lip Liner
Lip Stick
And of course Lip Gloss

Follow these six steps to apply lip gloss seamlessly.

FIRST, PREP THE LIPS:

Begin by preparing the lips... If you have dead skin, chapped or cracked lips, you’ll need to scrub the lips in advance of prepping them. Massage your scrub everywhere on your lips for a couple of minutes, then rinse them thoroughly.

SECOND, MAKE THEM SUPER-SOFT:

Do this by using a lip balm or conditioner to remove the dryness... It will create soft, supple lips. Be sure to keep it on for at least one or two minutes.

THIRD, BLOT THE SURPLUS CONDITIONER:

After you’re done putting on the lip balm, use a soft cloth to blot away the extra balm. This will prevent your lipstick product from smearing making the application of other products much simpler.

FOURTH, OUTLINE THE LIPS WITH A LIP LINER:

Begin by considering your lips natural shape. Use the lip pencil that has a color that will compliment your lip gloss, begin by applying from the center of the top lip and follow the natural line of your lips until the you complete corners of the lips. Repeat the same procedure on the bottom lip. You may also fill-in the entire lip, if you choose, with the very same lip pencil, as this works well as a “base” helping your lip color to stay in place far longer.

SIDE NOTE:

You may also put on a tidbit of foundation or concealer in a shade that compliments your lip’s natural tone... This evens out the lips in one coat and provides a smooth base to work with.

FIFTH, PUT ON YOUR LIPSTICK:

Apply your lipstick with a lip brush, by means of “short-strokes” and fill-up the entirety of your lips. Use a brush when performing the lipstick application as this adds precision.

SIXTH, PUT ON YOUR LIP GLOSS:

Begin by spreading on the lip gloss from the middle of the lips, drag the applicator laterally, the span of the lips. Avoid smearing the gloss beyond the lip’s line. Then you may need to blot the surplus lip gloss using a tissue, as this prevents the color from “bleeding.”
