You might be a little bit nervous and maybe even curious. Orange lipstick? It’s actually in style and suitable for a lot of people. Here are some tips to lead you to a nice orange lip.
Just like you should anyways if you want healthy lips, be sure to use an exfoliator to remove dead skin. Dry spots and flakes are easier to spot when wearing a brighter lipstick color. This is why it’s important to have smooth lips to start. Make sure after you exfoliate you clean your lips completely.
Get a lip liner that matches the shade well. Line your lips as you would like. If you want a sharper looking lip, create an X with the pencil going down from your cupids bow. If you want your lipstick to be long lasting, try coloring in your whole lip with the pencil beforehand.
Once you’ve exfoliated and lined, put your lipstick on evenly. If you’re planning on wearing orange, try using a brighter shade. Using a brush also allows for a better application rather than straight from the tube.
Just to make it look even a little bit better and brighter… add eyeshadow on top, mainly on the center. This will make it a little more matte and last a lot longer. Try finding a shade that matches closely, if you don’t have one but still want the same effect, you can also use a translucent setting powder.
